Challenging individualisation simply fulfilled
ARAMIS offers multifaceted and at the same time simple possibilities of adapting the system to the needs of the prepress company. This starts with the planning of all printable forms and it goes up to individualisation of workflow specifications in order entry (see "Map your Enterprise"). Corresponding adaptations can be carried out at the company upon the request of the ARAMIS administrator.

Furthermore, there are always requirements which can only be met through programming.  In order to keep expenses as low as possible, our developers have an effective tool for the creation of so-called additional programmes. These can be easily retrieved and used by ARAMIS users via their own menu point.

In the previous years, a range of additional programmes have come up which are available to all ARAMIS clients. In the following, we would like to introduce these to you.

Automated e-mail creation
The exchange with your client via e-mail and its attachments is a daily and important process in the prepress sector. Writing e-mail and compilation or renaming of attachments takes up a lot of time. With the ARAMIS automated e-mail creation additional programme, you could save a lot of time!  You could generate a comprehensive e-mail regarding an order at the touch of a button. Here, the correct e-mail address, the contact person, the order number, the keyword and any desired information is entered automatically. However, this is just the beginning. PDF files can be automatically renamed (e.g. as per the client’s wishes), their sending recorded for post calculation and the e-mail can be complemented with additional information such as a calculated release date. Use this additional programme to send e-mails quickly, uniformly and free of errors via ARAMIS or Outlook.

Individual statistics
ARAMIS already offers numerous statistics: from client turnover to employee statistics to evaluation of work in process. Furthermore, in case of corresponding data acquisition, each individual form of statistic and evaluation is possible. All information which you receive through entry in ARAMIS, the ARAMIS activity recording, via the ARAMIS internet portal or via interfaces can be individually evaluated with the individual statistics additional programme. The results are available in the form you desire (even as export file) and can serve as guidelines for article prices or for ordering materials.

Automated imports
With the notifications & details additional programme, you can ensure in a multifaceted form that the right person is informed by ARAMIS at the right time and if desired, requested to act. You compile the information that is necessary for this in the specification interface of an order. Here, you can activate a message, compile a text and optionally select a person who appears at this hint. But that is not all:  if desired, you can request the recipient to enter a deadline for a certain service for instance. The deadline can then be found in the work assignment. Notices and warning messages
Mit dem Zusatzprogramm Meldungen & Hinweise können Sie in vielfältiger Form dafür sorgen, dass die richtige Person zum richtigen Zeitpunkt von ARAMIS informiert und auf Wunsch zum Handeln aufgefordert wird. Die dafür notwendigen Informationen erfassen Sie in den Spezifikationsmasken eines Auftrages. Hier können Sie eine Meldung aktivieren, einen Text erfassen und optional eine Person auswählen, bei der dieser Hinweis erscheint. Doch damit nicht genug: Auf Wunsch können Sie den Empfänger der Nachricht auffordern, zum Beispiel einen Termin für eine bestimmte Leistung einzutragen. Den Termin finden Sie danach in den Arbeitsvorgaben des Auftrags wieder. Dies ist nur ein Beispiel von vielen. Welchen Informationsfluss wollen Sie optimieren? Comprehensive entry or alteration of data
The flexible adaptation of data is not a problem in ARAMIS. Individual contents and values can simply be changed by retrieving the respective user interface. What happens if you want to alter information simultaneously:  for instance, simultaneously adjust several prices, change information about several clients, simultaneously enter data for several orders and suborders (series, periodicals) or recording the activities of several jobs?  With the entry and alterations plus additional programme, this won’t be a problem:  it is fast and easy. Select datasets in which you want to make entries or alterations, record the corresponding information and everything is altered fast and in unison at the touch of a button (as well as subsequent confirmation prompt).
